Well! I slept then realised I hadn't rested enough so I rested some more hahahha

It was Canberra Day here and I should have been celebrating the Bush Capital...but instead I slept in, ate, napped and ate some more. It was great! I wish I had every Monday off, but I'm greedy like that.

It's not a holiday in Qld -- should've been at work, but I wasn't well today.....

slept in way too late, this pregnancy is draining me.
then for the rest of the day i have pretty much spent trying to finish this piddly 10% assessment.
it hardly seems worth it.

Started off doing something inane, then ended up in the big garage sorting things out, and putting extra rubbish on the trailer to go to the tip!

slept through an alarm to wake DH's bestie to go to work (well, i had to wake DH, bestie had his own alarm - and he slept through his too!) - so rude wake up with Damn, I'm late! at 4am. back to sleep about 5, awake at 7. friend over in the morning for our kids to have a play date, and spent a lot of time helping DH set up our water features

cooked a roast lamb for dinner tonight - was delish!

My DH worked.
I got up at around 7:30am, got kids breakfast and ready and tidied the house up. Dropped them at my BIL's then SIL and myself went to Pump class at gym.
Had a coffee with SIL and BIL after
Came home, didn't bother showering, just put the deodorant on and kept going with...
Icing Cupcakes I made yesterday
Cooked Carbonara for the kids dinner tomorrow night
Cooked a Lasagne for mine and DH's lunch and dinner tomorrow night.
Took the kids to the park and got the gas bottle filled for the BBQ for our dinner, and then it was time for the kids dinner.
When DH came home he cooked on the BBQ.

Now it's time for me to go to bed and read.

I got to bed around 3am (worked yesterday, and it took aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages and I didn't finish... ) then DH attended to DS's first round.

The DS really didn't want to sleep, so we all got up and got ready to hit the shops. I put on a load of nappies and folded and put away the dry ones, then we did the shopping and had a coffee and a bite.

Then I did another load of washing, spent ages playing with DS which was a lovely change, then DS slept (finally!) and I did a painting and watched a DVD.

Then I made soup and bathed DS then we all had dinner, and read a couple of books together.

Then DS went to bed, and DH and I have had a drink, and have done a bit of tidying, and now I'm working some more ... a few more things I want to have written up before I go to work tomorrow.

All up, a pretty good day

Now, if DH can impregnate me tonight ...

Slept in to 9am, did washing, chatted with my neighbours over coffee, chatted with friends via email, put away clothes, went out to lunch, did more washing when I got home, had a nanna nap, fixed my water filter, did the dishes, played on the computer, now I'm about to have a nice cuppa, have another chat with my neighbours before crawling into bed. I didn't make it to the gym, I was flat out walking the 1km to lunch, I ache!

Worked 4 ish hours, so far.
In between that rested as I have a bulging disc in my back.
Not a lot else!

Cooked pancakes for breakkie, took dd to the park and drank coffee with dh while she played. Dh went to work while dd and I had our nap, then swept the backyard, did craft and generally pottered around while dh made dinner. Oh and I had a glass of wine over dinner and then dh cleaned up too!

I have been watching Telly all evening now, and can't switch off yet...if only I could read in bed...but dd shares our room so its a bit hard.

Lovely day really. Pity I didn't go into labour though lol!

We had a great day!
Bit of a sleep in here - 6.30am lol! Took the girls to see a 'movie' - Handy Manny and Minnie Mouse which they loved. Then finished the supermarket shopping, did a massive cook up for the next few weeks and conquered Mt Iron-more which took a good 2 hours. Finished with a great roast chook and an early bedtime for the DD's. No meltdowns or tantis (from anyone)!
