Question how did your 2 mnth old react to immunisations??

my bub had his needles today. my side effect was that i was bawling my eyes out long after he had stopped but thats another issue .

what can i expect to change in his behaviour, if anything? eating, sleeping, general happiness etc. iv read all the possible side effects but it seems like they just put everything down to cover all bases iykwim.

i know every baby can react differently but would love to hear other peoples experiences

DS was a bit lethargic and slept (which was totally out of character, btw) and had a slight temperature (not a fever).
Reminds me I still haven't had DD's done... oops.

DD was very tired, also. And very very VERY grumpy and cried alot. Her legs hurt as well, I couldn't touch them without her screaming for nearly 24 hours.

Make sure you have some panadol for bub.

Also, a couple days later bub may experience some really loose nappies.

DD completely exploded her nappy about 2 days after.

DD never skipped a beat, was all good and has been for each one after. A small little bump at the injection site has been the only sign she's had them.

I cried more than DD too so I know what you mean!

My DD hasn't reacted to any of her shots. She slept more when she was younger (bonus!) but that was it

G had hers only a couple of weeks ago, and that night she slept for 9 1/2 hrs !! For the next 3 or 4 days she was grizzly and clingy and not even settling on the boob, was very fussy about what side she was on and sometimes just flat out refused boob but would take the bottle fine. Her appetite dropped too.

Hope your bub is fine with them!

My DD slept in the afternoon while i shopped for like 2hrs (big for her!) and then was a little sleepier in the evening but thats all. She was fine.
I had panadol but didnt give her any at all!

The nurses said you shouldnt give them panadol beforehand cause it can lessen the effect of the vax? Makes sense tho.

just a raised bump on his legs for my little man. A runny bum about a week later, not sure what that's about, but it's happened with all of his vax's.

Hope your little one is fine x

Just a bit more sleepy than usual and a red raised bump at the site - nothing else at all.
