    $90 jumper lost

I'm so annoyed right now, DS12 told me this morning he lost his jumper at school yesterday. I can't afford to replace it so hope someone has handed it in to lost property. Why on earth do uniforms have to be so damn expensive.

    Regards,
    Dianne

It is just a plain polly/cotton jumper and unfortunately can't be bought second hand because this year the school decided to change their uniform.

How can a plain school jumper cost $90?!?!?!?!?!

What if you had like 6 kids going to the same school??

Yay for him finding it though!!!

The prices are absolutely crazy. Thank goodness they are giving all the other children 2yrs to phase out the old uniforms otherwise I would have had to get one for DS15 also.

    Im glad he found it.

I'm with you on the uniforms, Ds' jumper is $68 for prep - luckily we got one second hand. Its wool though.
Ive just looked up the cost and its similar - goes up by size starting at $68 up to $98

Is your DS in Yr 7? We were lucky at my high school, if you had an older sibling wh had been at the school you could wear their uniform item, whether it had changed or not, which was great.

    PS: Love your new Av.
