We are trying to find a cheaper rental house as we cant afford to live where we are anymore!! So we are starting on the back foot because we havent been good with the whole rent paying here, so that looks bad, and now today i find out that our last rental place has given us a bad reference coz we were late with rent there twice, and then we arranged with them for the bond to cover some of our rent when we moved here, and now thats going against us too!!!! GGGRRRRRRR!!! I was counting on them being a glowing reference to counter balance our current place!! We did so much to that house!! we paid for and installed a fireplace, we re-did all the gardens, we put in heaps of effort there, and they still give us a bad wrap!!!
Its stupid!! Our lease is coming to an end, and our current real estate are fine with us staying here even though we cant afford it, but we have bucklies chance of getting anywhere cheaper coz we cant pay our rent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can kind of understand, before we got where we are now, we were renting with a real estate, and somehow managed to get 2 weeks behind in rent (i think i accidently payed our weeks rent or 2 weeks rent to our phone bill, coz we used to pay on bpay) and anyway, it was bad, every fortnight we would get a letter from them saying we were behind, then they were nagging us about gardens, etc, and in the end i think they took 2 weeks rent out of our bond, so we didn't get all that back....so stressful! i just hate real estates. we're renting privately where we are now, and i know renting private isn't for everyone, but it was nice when we met our landlords,coz they personally got to meet us and know who would be 'living' in their hourse, etc....maybe try not only looking through other real estates, but try looking private too? you still get the same tenant rights..... i know its hard though....sorry, no real advice......

It was my second preference as the rent decrease isnt huge, but its on acreage which is fab, and its a HUGE HOUSE so we dont have to get rid of half our stuff to move in!!!!! It has four rooms, so i can have a spare soom, plus three living areas so the kids get a play room!!!!!! I am a tad stoked!!!!!!!!!
misty.. depending on traffic it would take me an hour and a bit to get there, and about two hours to get home!!! (i always ended up heading home right on gridlock time though)
It would be a day trip!!!!
Thanks everyone!! We are stoked!! I was totally convinced that either we got nothing (we went for two houses) or that i was going to have to wait all weekend to find out!!! As it was i was out hanging clothes out when they tried my mobile, and they ended up calling DH who then called me!! YAY!!!
