The Five People You Meet in Heaven - Mitch Albom

    Have you read it?
I just finished it last night, and Im not too sure what to make of it.

If you've read it, what did you make of it?

I really enjoyed it. I read it a while ago, maybe six years ago? But from what I remember it was a good read.

I really liked it. I was surprised actually because I thought it might be a little schmaltzy. I thought it was an interesting concept and he writes well.

There is a film of the book too. It stars Jon Voight as Eddie. It isn't too bad.

I have another of his books (not Tuesdays with Morrie but I cant remember its name). That was good too from memory.

ETA: Just checked. It's called For One More Day. It's (broadly) about the love between a mother and son. Good book!

See I really enjoyed the book, and I really liked his idea about what happens to us all.

I suppose I just dont have words for it; Im not too sure what to think of it. Its left me speechless when it comes to talking about the book.

The film could be interesting, might have to have a look for it next time Im near blockbuster or video ezy.

Did it change anything about how you viewed life?

I loved it, actually I have to say I love all of his books. The movie was ok, but I much preferred the book. I have just finished his last one too its called 'Have a little faith'.

What I loved about Five People is the sense of purpose our lifes have, even though we may not be conscience of it. We are all here for a reason, and we dont always know or will ever know what that reason is.

I loved that book. It really made me aware and in awe of the impact that we all have on each other without even being conscious of it.

I love all his books, love that he discusses difficult topics with such light and positivity!

I have actually enjoyed the movies too, although never as much as the books.

I often read his books when I am going through a tough time, just reinforces how lucky we are to be alive.
