    Butterflies

Just wanted to share my recent experiences.

At Jack's funeral we released 12 individual monarch butterflies, they all flew away bar one.
that little butterfly sat on DD2's dress for a while, then flew onto DD1, then onto the headband i was wearing and eventually flew onto the flowers next to Jack's resting place.
The other week i was sitting on the couch looking on the computer, DD1 was at kinder and DD2 was in her room napping. i heard a tapping on the window opposite me, ilooked up and there was a monarch butterfly flapping away in the window

every time i drive my car during the day i see atleast 1 monarch butterfly fly past my windscreen. the other day while out with my mum i looked in the rear view mirror and there was a monarch butterfly following the car.
I was stopped at lights on monday and one nearly flew into my car.

Everytime i return home from somewhere there's always a butterfly here to greet me, last week one tried to come into the front door.

Mum and i had coffee on sunday, while we were waiting to be served a beuatiful monarch butterfly flew through the cafe right near us.

My DF used to laugh at us when we'd mention the butterflies we'd seen. He went to visit Jack last monday at the cemetary, he was starting to cry when a monarch butterfly flew right past his face and settle and on Jack's headstone, now he doesnt laugh at us.

Noone can tell me that i'm more aware of butterflies now and that they've always been there i just hadnt noticed them. our loved ones always show us theyre about, we just need to open our hearts and minds and allow them to do so

Ooo I will have to find something my Mum once said to my cousin about butterflies. They are messages from loved ones who have passed over. How very special for you to have that with your little Jack.

Hello little jack. What a beautiful story. I totally believe he is following you and looking out for his mummy, daddy and sisters, similar things have happened to my family when people have past so yes it's his way of showing you he's always going to be with you. Just amazing

Yeah...that is beautiful. I always get a bit of a sense of peace when butterflies are around - it always makes me think of my Nana. I also find they tend to be more noticeable just at the right times of my life when I need some comforting.

I was at a garden wedding a few months ago and this one butterfly kept hanging around - really trying to make itself known. I mentioned it to the bride and it then occurred to me it was likely her husbands brother that passed away a couple of years ago - from then I noticed it was pretty much all his relatives and friends that the butterfly was flying around.

I hope your butterlies are bringing you comfort like mine are to me.

That is so beautiful. You little boy has found the wings of a butterfly to keep him with you and your family. I bet everytime you see one is just when you need that bit of comfort.

For our wedding we released 2 butterfly's for the 2 family members we had recently lost. Both flew away at first but came straight back and we landed on me. I was a beautiful moment.

That's absolutely Jack! I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes, especially when the butterfly showed up to your DH. That is such a sign. I've seen things like this before also. The other day when I was thinking about the dragonfly for my tattoo (I mentioned to you the other day ) instead of the butterfly, I heard a buzzy sound inside my house and lo and behold there was a dragonfly (it was flying around the ceiling and buzzed when it hit, I think it was it's wings) in my house and it followed me upstairs and stayed!

They are truly beautiful moments to cherish.. gave me goosebumps reading...
We had a similiar experience with my cousin. Butterfly came to visit us at the funeral, and then at the memorial another came to visit and landed on my DD and sat for what felt like eternity while we all stood around and just watched.. they are the moments that take your breath away aren't they....
