Ewww something is in my ear!

Two nights ago I had an itchy ear it drove me crazy but I didn't think much of it. But last night it was still itchy and now I can hear a popping and crackling sound so I think there is something alive in there!

It's grossing me out and I wish I could just get it out but I don't want to damage my ear so off to the dr's I go. Not how I planned to spend dd's birthday but she loves playing with the toys.

An any went in my ear once when I was lying in the sun outside. Felt the same as you describe but thankfully it came out on it's own within a couple if hours. Hopefully the doctor can fix whatever it is.

(that's the weirdest post I've written in a while!!)

Eta- happy birthday to you dd!

    yerkkkk!

I was watching some show and a kid had a ****roach in his ear, the family pulled out half of it, the doctor got more and the rest fell out - mind you, they didn't go to the doctor until it started decomposing in his ear! all the best!!!!

It's the kind of thing you hear about but don't expect to happen to you! On my way to the dr now, I did try a cotton bud in the end but no luck.

Good luck! Something similar happened to me once, I thought it was water after a weekend of windsurfing. It turned out to be a baby spider It crawled out onto my little finger while I was prodding it again after two days of it bugging me. Scared the hell out of me!! We were on our way to work so went straight to the doctors when it happened and they flushed out my ear with water but assured me there was nothing else in there anyway.

Sorry if that's freaked you out!!

My sister got a tiny moth stuck in her ear once. The hospital flushed it out with olive oil. Having something in my ear is a massive fear of mine.

The good news no bug! Its a middle ear infection caused by my recent sinus infections so I need to have a scan.

I know, i have been trying to avoid having surgery for a few years now but it looks I might have to as my sinuses are causing lots of headaches and now this.

Oh my God. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I'm terrified of moths. If one gets in the house I start screaming!!
