Need help with a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet

DD received a bracelet for her first birthday, and today for her second birthday, got another charm for it. When I pulled out her bracelet, it has discoloured. It is an authentic bracelet, with an authentic charm and it is in it's own original bag with nothing else in there. The silver has gone black in parts on both the charm and the bracelet.

Is this normal? Does it just need a clean, or is there something wrong and it should be returned?

Ah i can help you with that lol!!

Has your dd ever worn it?
Sometimes it can be just normal humidity making it come black but if its in the bag etc.. you can take it to the shop and they will probably be able to give you some jewellery cleanser..

My silver always goes black. It's also possible they just didn't clean it 100% in the shop and the few patches remained.

ETA: Maybe it was also the last points of contact before it was put in the bag from the jeweller and the body oil has affected it

Thanks girls. It has never been worn, just handled by me, the jeweller and probably my dad and stepmother. So I should be able to just clean it and it'll be beautiful again?

So relieved. It's a beautiful bracelet.

Should be good after a clean.
