green poo (and I mean bright forest green!)

Tonight when I changed DD's nappy she had bright green poo! It has been green before but nothing this bright!!

Any idea what it could be?? I know of lactose overload but I don't think it is that, she only feeds off one side per feed and hasn't been feeding any longer than usual.

She has been really upset the last few days, screaming more than usual. No temp, no other symptoms but crying (which she does a lot anyways)

She seems ok though? Well like normal for her... The poo before this one was semi green, then this one was like grass colour! Lol.

If she has another one tomorrow i might take her...

Sent from my iPhone so sorry for the spelling and punctuation!!

If it was lactose overload it would be watery/frothy as well. Does she have much wind? I know that green poo often goes with wind. When I was about 4 or 5 I remember having bright green poo (not sure if my memory is accurate as to the colour, but it was definitely green). I told my mum and she just said it meant I had wind. I was otherwise well so she wasn't concerned.

If DD seems well, I wouldn't worry too much. It might be out of her system now. But a trip to your GP or MCHN won't hurt if you want to put your mind at rest.
