lace curtains that don't quite fit

my windows are 2.4m high-(floor to ceiling). i made curtains with block out that look good and have been trying to finnd some lace curtains to go behind them.

i saw at spotlight yest some pre-made funky star lace curtains. the design is perfect but they are only 213cm drop. is there anyway i can use them and they will look good?

i have thought about having the curtain rod not at the top of the window, so the bottom will be close to the floor.

Or buying 3 curtains and using one to add length (prob at the top) to the other 2.

what do you reckon? or should i just keep looking?

Keep looking or you could sew a contrasting strip in something else/something sheer along the bottom.

a strip in organza at the bottom would look nice (well it does in my head )

if you can get some funky organza or some other material, I'd actually put the strip in the middle of the curtain.

Other option is not to use the rod at the top in the channel for it, but to make tab tops for the curtains in the same material (or just same colour) as the other curtains (the block out ones).

Thanks for the ideas- I think i am going back today, might see if i can find some inspiration. I like the idea of making a feature rather than trying to hide that they don't fit.
