    Invited to the Royal Wedding!!!

nah not me the invitation obviously got lost in the mail

I was talking to a friend who told me they're going to a Royal Wedding party. Everyone is dressing up as though they are guests and they'll watch it on telly. Sounds like just getting dressed up for a BBQ and drinks on a Friday night, but it should be fun.

We're away, but I've instructed DH we have to tape it - from start to finish. He was surprised, because he knows I'm a republican. But I do love a good wedding and all our friends are either married or dont want to get married, so no wedding invites for us for a while So I'll perv on someone elses and see what everyone is wearing.

    And yes, I'll cry.

Sounds like a fun idea that your friends are doing. I remember staring at Princess Di's wedding for hours...

My sister is getting married only a week after (I think). So we're saving up all of our wedding efforts for her's! She booked in first too. We couldn't possibly make it all the way over to the UK and back in time.

Apparently purple is the colour this year - at least, that's what my bridesmaid's dress is. I wonder what Kate's bridesmaids will wear?

I am a Republican too, but I love weddings and can't wait to check out her dress (then tut and sigh at the expense to the taxpayers in the UK )

All my friends are already married so I haven't been to a wedding in years

Well that's a good plan. Find Divvy a husband so we can go to the wedding

I dont know any decent single guys though

I wonder what Kate will wear. I dont imagine a white strapless fishtail is appropriate for Westminster Abbey.

I think it will be something very sleek and elegant, maybe an a-line skirt but nothing puffy. I doubt she will go for low cut or low backed either, just classic and modest looking.

Actually Tashybabe, she would look gorgeous in something like you wore. If I got married again I would be pinching your dress design I think
