Why are boys names so hard?

OK. we have a girls name we love picked out but are struggling with a boys name.
We have pretty normal/common last name not as common as smith though.
DH's grandad who he adores was called maurice (went by morrie) so we have morrison and rhys from that. DH's little bro passed away he was called david. DH's granddad (who passed a couple of weeks ago) was john so is DH's dad it is also one of dh's middle names, so probaby looking at that for a middle name. riley is a mixture of our first names. and other names we like are jacob, connor, tristan and callum.
    Any input? especially on morrison?

Morrison to me sounds like a surname - but I definitely dont dislike it! I think its great to have names that have meaning.
    I do like Rhys though
I really like Riley John - or you could do two middle names Riley David John. (my girls both have two middle names!)
I like having two names of each sex chosen - then when bub is born pick which one suits better

I love Morrison as well. I agree, Morrison John is an awesome combo. And I love that both names are special to you.
