    Buying clothes online

I am living in a remote community at the moment and it is difficult to buy stuff for me (for all of us really!) because the nearest decent stores are 3hrs drive away. So I have ventured into the online shopping side of things but I am having difficulty in convincing myself to actually complete a purchase because I'm so unsure of my sizing and what suits me anymore since having kids. Plus just not seeing the quality or texture of stuff is messing with me too!!
I have just filled my shopping bag from Crossroads with a heap of stuff because they're having an online sale of 50% off everything and theres some nice stuff! But I just can't seem to press the checkout button!
How can you be sure of sizing...has anyone brought from crossroads online? What is their sizing like? How do I know for sure, size 16 in one label is huge, but small in another...help!!

Yep Im an online Crossroads junkie. Their sizing is pretty good tbh, if anything a little generous. But it all comes down to shape & style still. But I seriously luuuuurrrvvv Crossroads.

Do they have any measurements you can go by, like the kids stores seem to have? And check their refund policy as it may be really easy to send it back for another size.

ETA - I just checked out their website, if I wasn't pregnant I'd be going crazy what bargains!

Can you return ??? Im always sceptical too of buying clothes, unless i can return them. Ezibuy, TVSN, JKKids, Pumpkin Patch, and Brands Exclusive are just a few websites i buy from...and all return no questions asked. Once you buy from the store once....(and i know its a gamble), then you know either way if that style fits you, suits you....and your set. GL...and enjoy.

I quite like buying things from Crossroads and they are pretty good pricewise. I didnt even realise that they have online shopping, our local store closed down so I might have to check it out. I have found their sizes to be pretty consistent. I can understand how tough it must be to buy online. I can vary up to a few sizes sometimes at shops, which is so frustrating. Perhaps just make sure wherever you go have a good return or exchange policy before commiting to a purchase

They do have size charts, but I don't like to rely on them, I think I'm funny sizing since having kids. I can fit into some things in one size and not other things. So annoying. I will have to check their returns policies.
But I just asked DH if we had some spare cash and he said I can't buy online I have to try it on....so I have 2 outfits I can wear out of the house, one being maternity stuff still which doesn't fit me properly (not being pg anymore and all!) I have had for ever. Grrrr...I can't just buy stuff either cause I don't know if we do have any spare cash. And I have spent my own fortnightly allowance on the kids. Stupid me. So depressing.
