A bit worried about blood not clotting

So I've been confused lately about af being very late and yesterday saw my gp about it. She sent me for a blood test - I'm seeing her again this afternoon.

I've had plenty of blood tests before (in fact I'm one of those weird ones that kinda like them). Something weird happened yesterday though - after she removed the needle my blood wouldn't clot. I've never had this happen before - she ended up asking if i was on a high dose of blood thinners because that's what it seemed like (I'm on no medication at all).

I decided to ignore it afterwards and wait to talk to my gp again this afternoon but in the end I couldn't sleep properly because it's playing on my mind that something more serious could be wrong.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I'd love some reassurance because I'm a stress head lol

    Hi.
GL this afternoon with your GP.
I can't offer you any suggestions, but I hope that your doctor can.
Let us know how you go.

Have you taken any aspirin or echinacea supplements? Both are known to inhibit blood clotting.
