    Basinette to cot

I'm wondering when you moved bub to the cot?

DD is in a basinette, Mother's Choice Coco (google it, its different from other basinettes). And I'm wondering if she's old enough to have some daytime sleeps in the cot.

She's 4 months old, but still only 9lb 8oz. my tiny tiny bubba
And her basinette matress is tilted because of her reflux...
And its got her special cushions in it to help her head mould into a normal shape, being in NICU so long her head was really long and flat on the sides.
Plus another rolled up towel under her bum to make her feel safe.

    So, what do you think??
Another few months in the basinette?
Or a daytime sleep in the cot?

My DS was born around the same gestation but was 5lb11oz so was a bit bigger then your DD and he stayed in his bassinet until he was 6 months. We moved him because he didnt like to be swaddled and his hands started hitting the side of the bassinette and was startling him during the night. So we moved him. We still had to have a towel rolled up under the matress.

Is there any reason in particular you want to move her to the cot?

My DS2 and DD went straight into the cot from birth, so it doesn't really matter when you put your bub in, just whenever you feel ready or when bub has outgrown the bassinette

My kids were only ever in the cradle for a month or 2 so moving is fine. As for her reflux, just stick some phone books under her cot mattress to elevate it. We had to do that for DD1 and will DD2 as they both had/have reflux too.
