    my poor hips??

i just wanted to no if anyone else had it but when i sit down i feel like she is using her hands on either side of my hips and using my hip bones to push off with i actually have to lean back and remember to breath through it as she does it. does anyone else or has anyone else felt like this?

no, not really that.... but I do have REALLY sore hips of a night time when I lie longer than 2hrs on one side I have to change sides and my hips feel so sore and sometimes I do have to 'breathe' through the pain as i turn over.... much worse 2nd time around than 1st pregnancy...... 3rd trimester sure is tough on a woman's body hey???!!!!

Just everything stretching out ready for the birth.

Hang in there, we are nearly at the end.....

i just thought i would see if anyone else had felt it because it actually truly truly hurts sooo badly. i am very very much looking forward to having her though i do wish my time was going alot faster than it is i could have swore that being so busy and having an almost 3 year old that the time would just fly by without me even knowing but i swear its gone slower than ever.

    thanks for replying

I cant really remember (i think iv blocked all the pain and discomfort out as im considering baby #2 ) but i know i had lots of pressure down there and i couldn't sleep at night because i was so uncomfy. I couldnt even sit properly or for very long before it was just too uncomfy.

Just think only 6ish weeks left... which may seem like an eternity to you.

hope you get some relief soon. have you tried taking panadol and having warm baths? even showers were a 20 min relief for me.

    Hi Shanti,
Are you still working or spending a lot of time sitting? I had really bad pelvic pain from 18 weeks to the point that when I lay down at night with my son to put him to bed, it was like my back and pelvis seized. Moving, rolling or getting up was near on impossible. I finished working two weeks ago (at 36 weeks) and my pain has almost completly gone. The rolling in bed thing is much easier, and as long as I avoid vacuuming, pushing and pulling actions (including the shopping trolley) and carrying heavy weights, I'm fine at night.
    All the best.

it is harder on the body second time round - but I wonder if it's because we know what to sort of expect!

When I go walking I feel like this baby is actuallyhanging onto one of my hips, I have to push my belly over one side with my hand to try and get her to let go!! Lol
Hope the hip pain eases up soon
