confused....no temp rise but + OPK??

Hi everyone,

Im confused..

I have been recording my temp and havent seemed to have a significant temp rise yet my OPK are coming back +....can i ovulate without having a temp rise??

Please take a look at my chart.

We are hoping to concieve a girl so I am aiming to BD before ovulation but Im not sure if would O'd yet???

Any advice is appreciated!

It can be confusing, especially when your OPK gives you multiple positive results. You need a temp rise of 3 days to pin point ovulation day, so at the moment I can't tell if you have Oed or not. Yoour temp rises because your body is producing larger amounts of progesterone which occurs post ovulation. You can see this very clearly on your last chart. If you look at your last chart you'll see a temp dip and then a rise. When charting I always look for the dip, a low soft cervix, watery cm, a positive Opk ( I can get positive OPKs for up to 4 days before O, although once I notice one that is really dark I know that O is 24-48 hours away). I don't think you've Oed yet but I think you'll find O will be within the next day. HTH
