DS is 10months old, and weighs about 8.5kg. Coming into the cooler months, I need to buy him some long pants, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
He fits 000-00 depending on the make around his waist, but needs a 0 for length. 90% of the time he is in cloth nappies (which is why he fits 00 cos the nappy fills the butt out).
Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you go about getting pants that fit? Thanks
I had the same problem with my DS. I ended up getting him some leggings off ebay from china. They had cute patterns on them, and grew around the waist when he did.
We just use the cloth nappy to hold the pants up - hahahah. I fold down the waist band too and that helps a bit. We also have pants that are too short on DD but sort of look like 3/4 leggings because they actually fit her properly. It's a drama isn't it?
Adjustable waists are great, I have boys with no backsides or hips, can only buy pants with adjustable waists.
DS1 was a bonds baby, they had just started their real funky range, he lived in and always got comments on how cute he looked. The legging type pants are great.
I just got them both some Cargo type pants from target that have the elastic at the bottom cuff, they came in all the boys range from little to big.
He does have some baby legs which he is cute in, I might have to invest in some more legging type pants. I have a few pants with adjustable waists, so might get a few more for 'good' pants. Around the house I don't mind if he is in pants that are a bit short, but we seem to be out a fair bit so need some that 'fit' him itms.
Star - he still fits his 0000 trackpants, they are just shorts on him now but I think it's a bit easier for girls to get away with 3/4 pants iykwim
