    Finger Food

Is there any finger food that bubs shouldn't be eating until a certain age? apart from the obvious bad finger food stuff?

Not by the theory behind bls. They can have everything you have from 6 months. The only thing mine aren't allowed (except for junk food) is honey until they are a year.

I gave my kids everything that I had providing it wasn't a choking hazard from 5 or 6 months.

excellent so i can give her stuff like tomato, bread, banana's etc???

With Miss B i made up her own puree's vegies etc and they got more and more chuncky, this time i have started that with Miss Em but im thinking at times finger food would be easier?

All that is fine! I found finger foods really fun. Broccoli is a good one, any steamed veggies actually. Mandarin is good too. Cooked plain pasta is another great one too. Have fun with experimenting! x

Yeah I did a combo of puree and finger foods..... I would try foods like avocado, banana, pear, pumpkin etc first before trying acidic foods like tomatoes.... just wait a few weeks for those I think.

    DD started at 5.5mths solids.

I would probably go by what the child tends to lean towards. DS2 had a really strong gag reflex for anything chunky i reckon to at least 9 or 10 months so it was impossible to give anything like even mashed banana.

Finger foods are fine from 6 months, it looks like your little one isn't quite there yet. I'd wait until 6 months.
