Slightly TMI - DS and his bottom!

DS has been doing the most foul smelling, runny poos! There is only 1 nappy a day that isn't dirty (if I'm lucky), and everytime he passes wind he has a bowel movement.

He's been like this for a few days now, and other than being more clingy than normal, he seems to be himself. He has cut a new tooth this morning, but he didn't have this issue with the other 7!

Should I take him to the dr and just get him checked, or won't they be able to tell much? He was on ABs a few weeks ago for a very green mucous nose, which has subsided substantially.

Thanks, I feel like I've let him down if there's something upsetting his tummy and I've left it this long

DD didnt get gross poo with every tooth cut either. She would go through stages just like you have explained until she was about 18 months old! I found sticking with the B.R.A.T diet helped alot when she was having her days full of runny poo. Which is Banana, Rice, Apple Sauce (i gave apple puree) and toast. I think the clingyness just would be part of teething and his tummy feeling abit yuck because of it. If there is no temp or anything else really out of the ordinary, the docs wont be able to tell you too much. Even if he does have a tummy bug, there isnt a hell of alot they can do.

Obviously if he starts having a temp or starts really concerning you try ringing nurse on call or just ring the hospital and ask them if they think you should bring him down (being a weekend and all).

Sorry if thats all over the place. Its hard to say what i was trying to say by typing it down.

one of the mums from Mother's Group had a bub with no. 3s for a few days after antibiotics... and DS has been doing absolute poo explosions today and a bit of yesterday, which I suspect is teething.

I hope your LO is ok
