4 year old vax and fever post shots...

Olivia had her needles yesterday and despite being very upset with them she was pretty bave for a little girl who cries at the sight of her own blood!

Today shes not herself, very quiet and I just felt her head.... its hot. Her temp is 38.7.

So is it common for them to get fevers post vax... a day after? I dont recall her reacting to the ones shes had before?

Anytime in the week or so following the vaccinations is normal for a fever. The only vax related fevers my boys ever got were from the 12 months ones and it was 5 or 6 days later. Just make sure she is comfortable, the fever shouldn't last very long.
