Slight constipation in toddler- what to do?

I know there are threads like this somewhere but for the life of me I cant find them

And I am sorry, it will be TMI

My 18 month old is having a bit of trouble with her poo. Its the first time its happend (2nd time in a fortnight). She still goes at least once a day maybe 3 times but today again it hurt her. 1st time I thought it was because she hadnt been eating at all. but now nothing has changed. She has general 2 or 3 pieces of fruit a day also. I attempted diluted oj last time and it did absolutely nothing! I was suprised because she never has juice. I thought BFing stopped this?

So what do you do for your little one?

I would start by upping her water intake. A couple of small cups of water a day might be enough to help her. If not then try prune juice or kiwi fruits, they are excellent at easing constipation.

1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar in 100mls water. Works everytime with all 3 of my kids.
