Is this normal, or should I be worried?

Hi all, its yet another question about the mysterious aunt flow...
History of af and I.. Before kids she never missed a beat.
With dd1 she went on hols, returned when dd1 was 15mnths,
Then I got pregnant with dd2.
With dd2, shes been missing for about 15mnths again
In march I had 3 days of really light flow,
Then this month I had a 7 days of really heavy flow, the whole time.
Now 8 days later, af seems to have returned with attitude again...
Today is day 2 of this one.

Is this normal? Or should I be worried?

My AF got a lot heavier after having kids, to the point I would be emptying my mooncup hourly on the first day or two. I was told it was normal, although I did get a mirena IUD inserted which has stopped the problem.

I would say its normal. My AF was different after each kid. Just watch your cycles & things should settle to a new predictable normal.

Well until tonight that is, more bleeding, this time not as heavy, and im cramping up again
    But seriously when this stop?
How can I tell what is a proper cycle?

My cycle changed post-pregnancy, but also every time I stop the Pill! So I've had three major cycle changes so far.

Currently, I seem to get a few days of very light flow, followed by a few days of normal flow, followed by a few days of light flow. I can also have a day or two's break between the flow levels. Sometimes it can last ten days overall, sometimes just three. And once a month too - what's the go with that? I preferred the every 6 weeks version!

    Its seriously strange!
At the moment I would be quite happy to back to pre-preg
Cycles... At least I knew what I was getting.
Im really starting to feel the affects of it all, and thats not helping things either!
    Argh
