Am I crazy or she is tall for her age?

I just measured DD because I have been trying to find an all in one to put her in today and most of her 00 suits dont fit! She is 11 weeks tomorrow and 70cm long. She is only just under 6kg. I even had DP check her height in case I did it wrong but he got the same thing.

I've turned the house upside down looking for her red book to find that chart but no luck yet.

Am I crazy to think that is nuts or am I just not use to having a full term bubba

You're not crazy your dd is tall. My dd is 11 weeks on Wednesday and I got her weighed and measured last week. She was 6kg but only 58cm long. 58cm puts her at the 50th percentile for height so she's just average.

At 3 months of age, a 6kg bub is at 75th percentile for weight.
At 3 months of age, a 70cm long bub is way above the 97th percentile for height- A 6 month old bub of 70cm is on the 97th percentile. You might have a tall bubba there!

I have an amazon child, but even she was only 63cm at that age and that's the 97th percentile. (and now she's 125cm at not yet 5)

It only becomes a PITA when you have to keep their pants up, as you have to buy the right size for length, which is always miles to big around the belly.

My DS2 at 8mths was 74cm & 9.4kg he's in size 1 AIO's.

My DS was 68cm at 12 weeks and that was off the charts! So your bub must be waaay off!

DD is 2 and she is 105cms and 16 kgs and at birth was 55cms. DS is 4 weeks old and 60cms and 5kgs. They are both off the charts for height for their ages. Helps that DH is 6' 7"!! My kids are going to tower over me!!

Thanks ladies, I'm glad I wasn't going crazy. I found her red book and she is off the charts! I had a friend over this afternoon and got her to check and she got 69cm so I'm glad I wasnt doing it wrong.

She was 58cm at birth, no wonder people kept saying she was a long bub lol
