As the title suggests this is what's happening in dd's mouth. All around her second top tooth coming down it looks all puffy, white (not the tooth) and sore. It looks like it's starting around her first top tooth too.
Ds also got this, and I made the doc prescribe antibiotics....she's also just come off antibiotics for ear infection.
Anyone else seen or heard of this? Could it be thrush in her mouth? She is still chewing on things, she eats like a sparrow anyway so it's hard to tell if she's not eating well iykwim.
It's pretty gross!

yules it sounds like thrush to me, if it was purple/blueish i would have suggested it could have been an eruption cyst, id get her onto some baby probitotics
lolpigs giving alcohol to children is most certainly not a good idea,
when my DS1 was first teething he contracted herpangina (hand foot and mouth disease) - it was only because my GP was a specialist childrens' GP that he recognised it. Could be that?
Olive, I think it could be too, just odd that Ds also got it.... Her tooth has already cut through, just growing down now.... It's awful. Could thrush though only be on one part of her mouth?
Rory it's just weird ds also got it with the same teeth, except his were the top 4 teeth. It wasn't hfm with him.... He got that later.
I'm going to show a chemist tomorrow and see if they might have any ideas on the best way to treat it.
My poor baby
