Ear infection and pain relief???

I have ANOTHER friggin infection! I have an infected hair follicle....in my ear! My whole ear feels like it's going to drop off! So, my question is, is it ok to take panadine fort?? Has anyone taken this while pg short term, for a day or 2?

That sounds so painful!!! Yes I was told to take it for pain I experienced in my previous c section scar.
