Newborn basics - remind me again...?

Despite having done this before, my memories of Mitchell being a newborn are a bit hazy. (aren't everyones?!?)

So, what are the basics again? How much sleep, settling techniques, how often to feed, how much stimulation... etc etc

What else have I forgotten? I think there is a reason why we forget this stuff... So we are more likely to do it again!

    Cheers,
    Fiona

What I have learnt is that each of my kids are different. What worked with one didn't always work with the other. I think I've felt like a new mum with all 3 of them lol. I've kind of had to retrain my thoughts with each one. Sorry that's not very helpful is it lol.

From what I can remember it's feeding roughly 3-4hrs, wrap them to sleep (if they like that), burp after/during feeding, I think they sleep most of the time? Sobbing quietly in the corner at 3am because you can't get them asleep? I think I have blocked most of it and I hope that the knowledge comes back when I need it!
