DD has been having a bit of panadol due to a sore throat, which looked like turning into a throat infection but it didn't...
Anyway here's her dosage of Panadol
Day 1. 2 Doses of .4ml
Day 2. 4 doses of .4ml
Day 3. 2 doses of .4ml
And nothing today.
She woke up dirty this morning. It was a fair bit 'slimier' than normal and abit greener than usual.
And then less than an hour later she was playing on the floor and sneezed, which resulted in her filling her nappy. Strange, I thought.
I went to change it and inside was a really really watery slime. Very very green.
She's on formula.
Any ideas? Caused by Panadol?
She hasn't had any Coloxyl in about 3 days so it can't have been that.
My DD has had a fair bit of panadol in her time (she went through a phase of having febrile convulsions every time she got a fever), and I haven't noticed it's ever had that sort of effect on her...
BUT I guess it's possible...I would ask the pharmacist if you can't get in to the doctor.
She could be getting a tummy bug?
Also, I noticed if DD started to get phlegmy (sp?) sometimes her nappy would be mucousy too. Sorry - I don't think I've been much help. I would keep her fluids up today, and if the runny poos don't go away by late today/tomorrow I would go to doctor. Hope she's feeling better soon!
I would say it's more likely related to her sore throat than the panadol. Viruses in kids often cause a change in bowel habits or diarrhoea. If it's concerning you though I would get her checked out.
Thanks guys. She didn't do a poo when she was up before. Very whingy tho.
Her bottom gum is swollen. She'll be 5 months old (wow!) on Tuesday, but she was 6 weeks early.
So, I don't know if her tooth will come through, but its definatly moving around.
She's just complaining HEAPS. Not like her at all. Seriously, she's usually all giggles and can go days without crying.
