Missed AF due to stress... now what?

Ok, my life has been a bit stressfull for the last month or so and AF was due 3 weeks ago. After a stressfull few days and a blood test, my Dr said that I have missed my period due to stress and that I should wait for my next cycle. I also had an injection of Depo about a week later as I didn't want to go back on the pill.

Does anyone know when I should expect AF again? Would having the Depo injection change when AF would arrive? I don't have any symptoms of any stage of my cycle - I usually can tell when I am o'ing and the few days before AF arrives

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had something similar happen to me before, and its really down to the individual - have the stressors eased? Has it stayed the same? Has anything got worse?

Mine was the opposite - I had AF for about 8-9weeks non-stop, but it was also a result of stress. I think you should expect AF once life has settled down.

The depo shot might change it I guess, but I don't know if theres any way to tell

sorry im no help with when your AF will arrive or anything but can i please say a friend of mine saw a lady last week and the lady actually informed them that missing your period is actually 'healthy' for your body so maybe not stress about it, just wait it out and see how long they do take, if they take too long then maybe see your Dr

sending huge though as i know it can be freaky to miss them!
