My Daughter is 9.5 wks old, and I bled until about a week ago, and experienced lots of "gushing" sensations during that time, never enough to totally fill a pad, but was a weird feeling. Didn't matter if I was sitting or standing...just happened often.
Saw my gp last week, she wasn't too concerned, asked if I had any nausea etc which I don't. As bleeding had then stopped, she thought everything was okay.
Anyway, she gave me the Mini Pill at my request, and I only took it twice as it gave me instant mood swings (horrible!) and stopped.. anyway I am now bleeding again, quite heavily, with mild period pain..
I am fully breastfeeding.
So is this bleed a period because of the pill or still my loss, in which case I am beginning to wonder if I have some retained placenta, which would explain my gushing.. (having more gushing again with this bleed.)
(have called my GP's clinic, they are getting her to call me back asap when she comes in in the morning.
I went on the mini-pill after having DD and I had massive gushes. Nearly bled through a pad that leaked and through my pants and man it was horrible.
Never again.
i am not bleeding heavy but constantly spotting or a light med flow. i been for like ever test and still no cause. im on a stronger pill now (i stopped b/f) and i dont think i have even had an af yet (i havent had a proper flow since having DS3 in feb) i have gushing feeling but when i check its not much its just a sensation. i would go and see a gyno or a doctor and get afew tests done (specially iron if iron is low you may need a suppliment) i get a break of a week at the most and my spotting/ flow will be back. one of my close friends has the same problem too, its funny how women can stump the professional men lol!
