    Mystery Wet Patches....

I suppose this is the right place to post this, who knows!

So the last week I guess, DH and I have been finding these random wet spots in our bed. They're not from the dogs, they're odourless, colourless, and don't appear to be occurring in any particular pattern. Sometimes the doonah is wet on top, and the sheet, sometimes the doonah is dry, but the sheet is not, even though the doonah was on top of it...

There doesn't appear to be anything leaking from the roof, and its not leaking from either of us, nor does there appear to be anything coming from the mattress as its not usually wet, the protector is, so does anyone know what it could be??? Or should I call Ghostbusters?

When are you noticing them? Perhaps you are leaking some colostrum?

    ETA: Or the dogs?

Like I said, not occurring in any pattern, not the dogs - they're always dry, and not coming from either of us - we're always dry too. They seem to occur when nobody is in the bed, sometimes not even in the room (dogs included) and we get in and find random patches! Its really freaky!

Hate to say it....mice? Just makes me wonder because it happens when nobody is in the room or in the bed. Maybe set a trap to see.

Ewwwww maybe... but sometimes they're really quite big patches, it would take a lot of mice... and would it be colourless and odourless if it was mice?

    Eww...maybe rats o.O

If it were mice or rats it would smell (i used to have pet mice and rats a few years back) and there would be mouse poo in the bed too. Hope you find out with it is soon

Maybe, the weathers cooled down a bit in the last couple of weeks, but we usually get mould when its hot not cold... I freaked out the first time because I put my feet in it and I thought maybe it came from me but when I was dry I just got confused lol

Yeah, you'd be able to smell it if it was mice.

Right?! And this morning, I checked the floor as well, and the poor puppy who's been copping the blame for all the wet patches I thought were piddle - most of them (all bar 1, that was on her piddle towel anyway) were just this...whatever it is! I'm so sorry puppy! I really should've known such a tiny dog couldn't produce that much pee...

I'm seriously starting to freak out! What the hell is it?? Maybe we have ghosts o.O
