Just watching Trinny and Sussannah's down under makeover mission (there was some serious frocky horror going on with some of those ladies!), and was wondering if there are any other T&S fan's out there?
I find people either love them, or hate them, but I'll admit I love them...DH hates them
I have a really weird body shape and its so hard for me to know how to dress and after doing a lot of watching and reading, I've found I'm what they call the Goblet shape, so I went out and tried some things on, followed the rules for that shape and I'm amazed!
So I just thought I'd see if there was anyone else out there, and maybe which of the 12 body shapes do you feel you are? Do you feel that pregnancy left you going from one shape to another? I'm hoping I get some hips out of this pregnancy!
Hi Strawberry, I am a huge fan and been watching the Down under shows too. I desparetely need Trin and Susanna, I am trying to figure out my body shape too. I am busty , quite broad on top, dont have thigh/butt problems. Im always a size or two bigger on top than bottom. Wud have loved to be on the show. I actually recognised one of them (in the melb show) and tell u what, she didnt need no make over. She is always dressed up on facebook haha.
Caz - You sound the same shape as me! I just wish they could tell me for sure what I am, I'm not a disaster but it would be nice to have a definite direction! I recognised one of the ladies on the Brisbane one - she works in the office of the UQ Geography dept, I used to hand my assignments in to her! But she really did need help lol
Sop - I only have one of the books, the body shape bible, but they've written way more since then that I wouldn't mind reading - its just books are SO expensive these days!
yep - I love them too, always watch the show if I can. but I need their books so I can refer to their rules every day. I know the days I do adhere to the 'rules' I always get comments at work about how good I look.
Strawberry ye my hubby always telling me I wear the 'wrong' things. wud love to have the girls help me. Having big boobs doesnt help either. haha. Id love to read these books. Havent seen them.
I love Trinny & Sussanah. My sister used to live in the UK before the Aussies really knew them & got a few of their earlier books cheap and got some great tips
I love them - they have some really good ideas. I mix them with Gok Wan too though - together, the three of them (or rather, their books!) have really sorted out my wardrobe.
I don't have a T&S or a Gok body shape though. Huge bones so I never look slim, but no curves either. Can't win! Oh yes, and so tall and big that clothes are never long enough and shoes rarely big enough. Somedays I hate people who can be made over, because I can never find anything that fits.
^ Oh I love Gok too! Though sometimes I wonder about what he wears on his own feet...he's been sporting like, work boots with jeans kind of tucked in lately and I'm not sure if I'm a fan of it lol That sucks about the big shoes etc. - I remember when we went to China and mum couldn't get any shoes to fit her because she's a size 10-11. This one lady just looked and her and said "Lady, you kidding me right?"
Aww Caz - I wish my hubby knew what the right and wrong things were! He's like a child I have to dress him or he'll leave the house in his pyjamas!
Rhichichi - I've been watching them since they were first on foxtel ages ago, but a friend of mine from the UK was onto it way before then - I always wondered why she'd looked so snazzy!
Ryatha - Its so great when you see that the rules work! It renews my faith in them hahaha
Does anyone else find they like the things that one puts together over the other? I find I like Sussannah's outfits better than Trinny's a lot of the time.
