Question Cairns - weather/what to pack

So my little family are heading to Cairns on Saturday just wondering if anyone knows what the weather is like up there at the moment? The weather reports are saying 27-28? what does that equate to in clothes? Shorts n tshirts? Cardigans? will it be warm enough to swim? How about overnight? Flannie pjs for the little man?

    Not asking much hey

Any advice at all gratefully received...yay for holidays

Hey hun, I hope the weather is better for you than here on Hamilton Island where I am holidaying ATM. Most days it's too cold for a swim Only 22-24% with showers ever day. Poo! I've packed so many tees and shorts for my DS and all he wears are leggings and long sleeve tops. Luckily I've brought some!!

    Enjoy your break hun!
