    Pants to fit over MCN's?

DS's pants don't fit with MCN's! Up until recently, he's always just worn the MCN by itself, but now that it's cooler, he needs his legs covered. I bought some Bonds Roomies, but the poor little guy looks like a clown in them! Any suggestions - are there any brands that have more butt room (but not quite so much as the Roomies, lol)?

    TIA

I up-sized the size pants DS wears. Other pants I love are Pumpkin patch. I find them a bit roomier, but with the adjustable waist.

Around the house, I'd say just stick with the nappy & a pair of leggings (Agoo, Babylegs, Huggalugs).

Ive been dressing DD in pants two sizes up, so she will wear a size2-3 top and usually around a 4 bottom. Always leggings or skirts though so it might be a bit harder dressing a boy, though it is almost trackie season(yay )

I've never had a problem with ds pant size and his MCNs. I get most of his clothes from big w or best and less.

I usually just buy pants a size bigger. Pumpkin Patch seem to be quite roomy in the bum so I tend to stick with them for jeans.

We don't have any probs here either. All our clothes are handmedowns though, so maybe they are pre-stretched.

I know Fluffy Lime has Frugi Cut 4 cloth, maybe check those out?

Maybe it is my MCN's, a few people have said the same...I use Abby Gro's. They probably are a little bulky, but I love 'em!
I tried the 'one size up' and that seems ok, but if he's in sposies to go out I'll have to change his pants as they just fall off him, lol! And the legs need folding too, not that that's an issue.
Not sure about leggings for a boy...

Yeah I was going to suggest a bigger size pants or baby leg warmers.... you can get some cute one's for boys!!

Also search ebay for cheap pants for toddlers that have cute prints on the bum and they are like $6 or something ridiculously cheap..... from china but cute.... (they will stretch easily over mcns)

Helle - DS is pretty small for his age, by far the smallest in mum's group! And most of his clothes are Big W, KMart or Best and Less. Do you use the boosters?
Trying again today without the booster and hoping for no little accidents!

Hi hon, I was thinking of you and this problem just the other day when I put some of DS's pants over a cushie tooshie and thought gosh it's a tight fit! So I did have to take them off and put a larger size on him. I don't have that problem at all with the ebay ones I bought. I know you have some of them too, maybe if he's only at home and there's something in particular that you want him to wear you could pop one of those on and if you need more absorbency you could put one of the abby gro boosters into it? Other than that can you get a couple of 3/4 length pants in a larger size just for at home?

Yep. We use the whole box and dice that AG comes with

I tried the Abby Gro's without the boosters, but we were wet through within 1.5 hours (and by 'we' I mean me too cos I was holding him ). They fit beautifully with his pants though!
Cherished, he leaks through the sides of the ebay cheapies, even with the AG inserts and boosters! Grrrr, maybe DS has a big a$$, rofl!!

my daughter has a flat bum so I have managed to get away without worrying about side of the pants, but a girlfriend loves the pants that you can get from darlings downunder which are made for cloth bums!
