Going to miss an antenatal app.

I am due for my 26 week check up next Tuesday and it looks like I am going to have to cancel. I am also thinking I won't be able to get another app until close to 30 weeks. So my question is how important is the 26 week check up? When is my diabetes check I have forgotten!! Can I just book in with my GP for a once over? I know bubs is ok he is kicking up a storm!!

From memory I think that yes, the GD test is ordered at around this time. However you just need a referral to a pathology provider for the test. You can get this from your GP. Otherwise at this time I just had the normal checks (blood pressure and doppler) at my appointment.

Are you done with your 20 week scan. If your done it's ok to have a check up after 3 weeks. Do your Diabetes check

I had a check up at 21 weeks and then not until 33 weeks. I was out of the country. My OB suggested i have my BP checked in that time if I could. But otherwise I was ok to not see him unless of course I had an issue. I did my GT test at 33 weeks.
