I am heading to Noosa in a couple of weeks. Any ideas for some really great eating spots (not too exxy), things to do, etc.
Also Holly (maltesex) is coming along to dog friendly accom, so any of the walking tracks, etc in Noosa area that are dog friendly?

    Hey there
I'm southern end of the coast, but Noosa is lovely. Don't get up there much as its too touristy for us. Many great cafe's & restaurants in Hastings Street (Main Street); prices vary but it all used to be quite expensive up there. As far as walking the dog, there has to be somewhere. Noosa National Park is in the middle of town, but I'm not sure if you're allowed dogs on leashes or not.
Have a fabulous trip, the weather's been lovely lately!

lived in noosa for a few years, just moved a little north of there a year ago. we lived on gympir terrace, along the river and i loved walking there everymorning...lots of dogs as dd1 LOVES the puppies and nice cafes/restaurants along there that are heaps cheaper than hastings street. Grind on gympie terrace for the best breakfasts and great coffee. quite a few places have closed down recently. the is a great thai around the back of gympie terrace called thai square, really yummy, VERY popular...bookings only on the weekends...and pretty cheap.
there are a few dog beaches but i really couldnt tell you how to get to them, sunshine beach/sunrise beach have a few doggy spots...maybe google.
make sure you get up early and do the walk around the headland on a lovely sunny morning, from main beach up the walk ways, so beautiful. even if you just go round to teatree bay. dont think you can take dogs though.
there is so much more but cant think right now.....have a great holiday!
