3 year old still complaining of sore ear.

As the title says my ds2 has an ear infection. He has just finished his first course of antibiotics and is now a day into his second batch. The poor thing is still complaining of a sore ear and even after nurofean and last time pain stop he is still crying from the pain. I don't know what to do and honestly a little scared as he had mastoiditis from an ear infection which required surgery at 4 months. The doc also reccomended i clean his ears out with Waxsol as they are very waxy but i have being told in the past not to touch them. What should I do? Ride it out for a couple more days or go back to the docs?

You should go back. The AB's may not be working, he might need a different sort. If he's had a whole course and it's still that painful I'd definitely go back. X

yup definately go back as AB might need to be changed
or infection may have gone to middle ear or sinuses- and that hurts!!!
