    Hollandaise Sauce - Think Eggs Benedict

    Im after a good recipe for Hollandaise sauce...

    I know you can just buy it but it was $4.39 at coles and I know its made from a few basic ingredients and I only like a small amount...

    Whats your recipe? I want to make Eggs Benedict and thats all im missing

    Ahhhh, I want to know too!! I tried on the weekend and it tasted like oily raw egg. It was gross.

    I think they made it in a masterchef masterclass they aired before mothers day. I am on my phone so can't link, but its hould be on the masterchef website

    I've made it in the past and found it easier to just buy a jar. It's not that easy to make and lots of washing up after, but, this is the recipe I used:

    Thanks ... Wow that Masterchef one is so complicated...

    I have found a basic one...

    3 egg yolks
    70g butter
    squeese of lemon juice.... Whisk over hot water in a bowl ( like melting choc) add a little butter at a time

    Salt and pepper to taste... also add herbs but I love it plain

    Yanno what is a yummy variation for eggs benedict?
    Aioli.
    Me and SIL were feeling too lazy to make Hollandaise sauce so we just used the aioli from the night before and it was ever so yummy.

    It's easy to make too - just mayo with extras.
