Exclamation Lead Pencil on the wall...

    Hi!

Not sure if I have posted in the right spot... wasn't sure where else to put this so moderators please move if necessary!

My near 2 year old walked the length of our hallway dragging a lead pencil along the wall. What is the best way to get it off? I tried normal multi-purpose cleaner which didn't work and it appears that the magic sponge isn't good for the paint!

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated as I need to get it cleaned off before the landlord sees it!

Yeah, I'd try a rubber. I had pen & led pencil I got off a few days ago with metho. Wasn't so great on the paint either, but it worked.

WD40 works a treat. You have to use spray'n'wipe afterwards but it is seriously good at pencil and crayon.

Thanks everyone... I think I will see if a rubber will work first and then go the gumption route! I worked in a long day care for a year you would think I would have thought of gumption myself!! I'll let you know how it works!!
