    what should i be eating?

are there any do's and don'ts in regards to foods when breastfeeding? Are there certain foods that will make my milk the best it can be?

Not really. Just sometimes things you eat may give them an upset tummy. Usually like garlic, onion, chocolate, chilli, etc. You're milk will be fine no matter what you eat, the babies get the best stuff

Oh my gosh your boys are four weeks already!!!

My only tip is LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER, I can't believe how fast I can get dehydrated since I started feeding...

i guess it's always best to eat a healthy, nutritious diet - just to make sure you're in the best possible condition (moreso than for the milk, itms?!). i found caffeine & chocolate sent DS over the edge when he was little but when i tried again when he was about 4 or 5 months old, he was fine. i think it's different for everyone - different foods affect different babies etc.

I have heard plenty of lean protein is good for making milk that is more satisfying. Not sure if it is true or not but it is working for us.
And water... loads of water. I drink 3lts a day.
