Can anyone help with omron thermometer?

Dd has been screaming non stop the last 48 hours, I ended up calling 1800 granma at 4am last night so we'd could get a few hours sleep. She is still screaming bloody murder.
S isomething not right and stupid me threw out the papers for our omron gentle temp eat thermometer so I have no idea how to use it and I really want to take her temperature to make sure she has no fever.
Does anybody have one they could soooo kindly let me know how to use it? There is one button at the to that says measure.on but not sure if I click it on then hold or do I click when I hear it beep? Arg, so tired, want her to be better so we can all get sleep tonight
    Thanks in advance

i have an omron thermometer - one for in the ear (in a blue case)

turn it on, should have a display - place in ear and gently move side to side til you get one beep. hold in place til you get two beeps together, press button (before taking out of ear) so it takes reading - you'll get four beeps.

i just had to do it on myself to check i got the destructions right cos DH has packed the formal ones away!

She was 36.3, but she's still not herself today. We blame it on the teeth, the poor think she just wakes up screaming in pain. xxthanks for your help

DD has been similar the last few days - temp normal, but very clingy and whingy - and going to the fridge to ask for the gum numbing stuff
