Funny things they say :)

DD is nine. She has started to use much more complicated words but sometimes she gets it wrong. We usually gently correct her and move on but sometimes what she (unintentionally) says is funny. Like today...

DD - Mum, can I have some unsalted peanuts.
Me - Sure. (Away I go to get her some).

Few minutes later...

Me - How are your peanuts?
DD - Not good. They aren't what I wanted.
Me - Yes they are. You asked for unsalted peanuts and they are unsalted peanuts.
DD - (sighing and rolling her eyes like I am the world's biggest idiot) Mum, I wanted insulted peanuts, not unsalted.

Me - Ummmm...Ummm bub, I think you mean salted peanuts?

What funny things do your kids come up with that make you laugh?

A couple of days ago, I was singing and my 4 yr old approached me and said:
'Mum, could you please stop singing? You are making me song-sick'.

At least he said 'please'.

I might use that as an excuse for a day off work!!!
