co-sleeping and night out, is it possible?

    Hi all,
I have a dilemma at the moment with my co-sleeping 10month old dd.
She feeds to sleep and does tend to wake at random for a bit of a snack and resettle.
Is it possible for me to have a night out (not a big one lol) and leave her at home with DH?
Does anyone have any tips or wise advice??
We have an amby and ergo in our artillery

Give it a try, I often used to feel the same but dd was always fine! Maybe for the first night out don't go too far so you can get back easily

    Enjoy your night out xx

I used to do it when DD was little and although I did worry... She was fine.

This is probably going to be frowned upon, but DP finds that when I am not there and she is unsettled... The TV is his best friend. Because it us something different and distracting... He let's her sit on his lap and gives her a few pats and she drifts off to sleep. The grandparents sometimes do this when they have her while I work.

Not ideal. And we certainly don't do this every night. BUT it seems to work on the odd occasions if I am not there. Just an option for him

    Enjoy your night out!

Yeah, for sure! Especially if you have stuff up your sleeve... My DH actually settles our baby in bed with him quite effectively, even when I am there, she just sleeps over the other side from me.

    You might be surprised....
