Does anyone know where my earring is?

I woke up this morning to find that the diamond earring that DH gave me for my 30th birthday has fallen out of my ear. I went to the doctors yesterday afternoon and when she was checking my ear she caught it. Forgot asll about it until I woke up this morning and it was gone. I've checked DD's bed (where I woke up) and mine, but our house is in such a state because we're moving overseas, I don't even know where to start next. Any ideas?

Have you checked IN the pillow cases?

Hmm hope someone can 'see' it for you hun, my first thought was IN the pillow case though.

I've looked inside the pillowcases really thoroughly just now and under the beds etc, but still no luck, but thanks for your suggestions.

I've just called the dr surgery and asked them to check too.

Sadly not. I stood on the back of it on DD's bedroom floor just by her bed a couple of nights after I first lost it, so I went back and checked her room and bed and my pj's really thoroughly again but didn't find it. A friend and I also gave the area around my bed a really thorough search last night but no luck. I've checked inside all the pillowcases so many times! We're moving out on Sunday and the buyer is picking up our bed tomorrow morning so I hope DH looks carefully when he takes it apart as I'll be at a chiro appointment then. I'm feeling like it's less than likely that I'll find it now

hmmm..... sounds like it might have dropped & bounced somewhere - like under some furniture. I hope it shows up
