Do baby boys pee more than baby girls?

DS is my second child, I have a DD also. With DS I am forever changing his nappy or if I'm not quick enough he has already pee'd through. I seem to have so much more washing of DS's than I ever did with DD.

I thought maybe I just didn't remember having so much washing with DD, but after six weeks I am convinced DS has ALOT more washing that DD ever did.

Is it just my DS or son's in general? Í don't mind washing but it isn't fun to have so much washing in Winter.

He could just be a heavy wetter? I think happens regardless of gender cos some of mine have been heavy wetters and some not.

Maybe its the nappy you are using?

My DD was a big wetter.

He may just be a heavy wetter, I am using the same nappies so that has remained constant.

I am glad others have had the same thoughts....I'm not going mad.

I have cloth to use soon so I think I will have to do a bit of research to make sure I have extra inthe right areas.

I'm sure my DS's pee and poop sooooo much more than DD ever did. I am doing so much washing with them as they seem to pee and poop through everything, but I think is maybe more the fact that boys pee to the front of the nappy and therefore prone to a bit more leakage up the front and around the legs, where girls pee downwards so don't seem to have as much obvious leakage etc. One of the joys of raising boys I suppose lol...
