    Brauers teething relief

    I am just wondering.....
    Has anyone used this?
    Do you recommend it?
Is it better than teething gels?
Is it better than Hylands teething tablets?
    Any side effects?
Anything i should know about it?
What have you found works best for teething?

yes ~ I have used it (for jboy)
    yes ~I would recommend it
yes and no ~ teething gel was INSTANT relief, the brauers takes a bit longer to kick in.
I dont know about Hylands, I never used them.
No side affects I was aware of
Its a homeopathic remedy, I *think* it needs to be dosed a few x a day, starts working withing 6-12 hrs, but it really seemed to work for us.

I used a mix of bonjela/wcH teething gel, and the Brauers, a few times after having the brauers Jboy had teeth come through and we didnt even realise.

OK i am so buying Brauers today! last night was HELL!

Miss B didn't suffer too bad when teething, gel and the tablets did the trick, but with Miss Emily NOTHING is working! not even panadol!

We found it great too! That and an amber teething necklace meant we almost never needed panadol or gels. I personally, can't recommend it highly enough (and the necklace).

Nah... Once we've built it up in his system we just keep going with the 4 hourly doses, if he misses one or two overnight it doesn't seem to make to bigger difference.

Yeah that's what I did generally... Mind you there were some days where he was suffering so occassionally in the morning I might give him 2 doses in a half hour period and them go back to the 4 hours.

This stuff works by building up in their systems. So while it says you can give them four half hourly doses, you don't have to. I always found it was far better to use DS's temperament as a guide. But if it had been a long time since his last dose (several days or weeks) I found that he usually needed those four half hourly doses to get relief, but if it was overnight or a day or two, it wasn't necessary.
