Bubby is in her cot in her room sleeping well all by herself and I can't sleep!!!

Last night was night number 3 for my DD in her own room. She is doing so well, 3 nights in a row with only one wake up and I can't sleep hehe. I can't fall asleep because I'm too busy worrying about her, how ridiculous am I? I told DH I don't like her being in there, she is so little and all on her own, I'm scared someone is going to sneak in and steal her or that the monitor won't work. She is literally ten steps away, I'm just a worrier. Very proud of my baby girl, but with every milestone she is getting older and I love my precious baby moments, I don't like how they fly by so quickly!

Aww that is so sweet! I know, every new milestone is exciting and sad at the same time cause they just grow and change way too fast!
Well done to your little girl. I hope you adjust and get some sleep soon

I still worry and DD is 2.5! I lay awake listening for anyone that is trying to break into her room etc. We both must be a little nuts lol. DD was in our room until she was 18 months old for this reason... i just couldnt relax about the whole situation. Anyway, just popping in to let you know you do get to sleep eventually and some nights are easier than others for some reason.

I remember those nights well (which wasn't very long ago). I still sleep lightly listening for any sound in the room but DH is the one that worries because the girls are only little and all by themselves (our girls are 3.5 and nearly 2 and share a room).

Your DD is doing really well for 5 months old.
