    Any other rainbow lorikeet mummies?

I am the proud mummy to a rainbow lorikeet. Does anyone else own one?
    They are such funny creatures.

    Congratulations

I had one before I met DH but once DH moved in Skreach learnt how to aim his poo at DH so he went to live with someone else I hand raised him so it was very sad and yes he was such a character

I've had him for a year. He too is hand raised. He was attached to me, but since we've come back from our holiday (about 3 weeks) he has formed a new attachment to DH, who my birdie used to hate. My birdie and i have reconnected but he prefers DH when he is home and i cringe with envy.
He's quite a talker and a tart too!

Naww we had one when I was a teenager. He was spoilt rotten.
My sister found him, no feathers, very young. Had fallen out of his nest and some school kids were throwing rocks at him
Mum hand raised him, and just loved him to bits.

We ended up giving him to a wildlife reserve when he was around 5 years old. We were soo so sad to see him go We would drop of packets of hotcross buns for him every year! His favourite! haha
