    Is this AF?

Hey everyone, Just wanting some opinions. Rohan is 8 weeks almost & my bleeding had died down to almost gone for about 4 or 5 days. But then it started again, just a little, some spotting "pink" when I wiped. Anyway yesterday it was more so & this morning it full on period like bleeding. Thing is all 4 previous kids AF didn't come back till 12 months.
I also have a prolapse & noticed the bleeding increased after I pushed the tissue back up when I was feeling exactly how bad the prolapse is.

So im at a loss as to whether this is just more bleeding from the birth OR its actually AF. I have always bled heaps after each kid. up to around 9 to 11 weeks so its not unusual to think this is still just my body healing but then for how heavy it is the morning I dunno. But I can't remember if this happened with the others or not...

I did notice yesterday it was rather EWCM streaked with blood.. Its doing my head in!

hmmm..... difficult to tell for sure. But I read somehwere that blood stained EWCM is highly fertile - so perhaps you are mid cycle?? I'd get it checked out b/c of the prolapse. GL

Hmmm I'd go get it checked out hun. I had bleeding around 6 weeks and just assumed it was af but haven't had it since so it must have been something to do with birth.

I'd go to the Dr, to check nothing is wrong and to put your mind at rest.

    Or call nurse on call?

thing with going to the Dr, I have been putting it off as I am due for a pap & I figure they wont want to do the pap while im still bleeding. After all, what exactly are they going to tell me? There is no pain/smell etc Its just a period like bleed. I just wish I knew for sure either way. Is there anyway they can actually tell if it is AF?

No I don't think so (if there's a way to tell it's AF), but could it have been blood pooling behind the prolapse, and then when you moved it, it was released?

I thought that at first Kim, then this morning when it was so heavy (not excessive just like a period flow) I thought WTF? Its still a decent flow now & its red fresh blood.

is there a possibility of any retained stuff? sometimes the sac etc can come out a wee bit later and cause a bit of bleeding ruckus. i had something similar at 7-8 weeks and had almighty gushes.

I had bleeding that stopped and started for 12 weeks after having DS. I had an u/s and it turned out I had retained placenta. I had no other symptoms (no smell, fever etc) just the stop start bleeding.
    Could be something similar?

hmm I wouldn't think so, me &t he midwife had a pretty good look at the placenta & it all seemed intact. I have also been chatting with her via FB also & she hasn't suggested that could be it. I guess we'll just wait & see till it dies down/finishes & if I get another bleed in a month or so. Stupid body. I want a new one.
