FT midwifery study with a toddler and no family support

I'm looking at maybe studying Midwifery next year, if I can even get in, but I'm concerned as UQ starts clinical practice from Sem 1 and DP will be doing a six month course that will take up three evenings a week, while maybe working full time or at least part time, which likely would be a late night during the week at least every fortnight as well. So basically there's a good chance there'd be no-one home 'til 9pm-ish 3-4 nights a week.

It's not doable with a toddler without significant family/friends to support/babysit is it? No childcare options would run that late?

Second semester and thereafter would be fine, but there's no midyear intake so I'd have to put it off a whole year... Which I don't want to do but will if I have to

I'd apply and review the situation when your accepted. There could very well be a way with some help from family daycare etc. There are a number of family day care mums that do hours outside the norm.
